One of the first nipper lifesavers in the sixties, now qualified with every certification of lifesaving in South Africa and licensed as a United States Ellis Lifeguard Instructor. Former English Channel Swimmer and recipient of provincial colours for lifesaving and surfing. Event Director of World Lifesaving Championships – Rescue ’96. Currently General Manager of the ILS Group. Chairman of Lifesaving KZN from 2010 to 2020. Recipient of Meritorious Service Award to Lifesaving South Africa, with Honors.
Experienced in water safety management with lifesaving and aquatic qualifications. Currently heads up the Community Outreach Projects for the company and drives the school water safety programs. Served on the Drowning Prevention committee for North West Province and is the Operations Manager in the North West and Limpopo..
Qualified surf and stillwater lifeguard who came through the ranks of lifesaving starting off at Durban and the KZN South Coast. Started lifesaving at school level and has enjoyed a wide variety of lifeguard training from small isolated beach locations to large water parks and community swimming pools. Brings a wealth of knowledge as a former Chief Lifeguard for City of Durban. Qualifications include Instructor and Examiner surf awards. Presently Operations Manager for lifeguard services in Durban.
Experienced role player in waterpark development with acute construction knowledge specific to waterparks. Operations and general manager at Mafunyane waterpark in Nelspruit for a number of years and Wild Coast Sun, Wild Waves with twelve years experience in the industry. Managed large team at Wild Waves, SA high tech water park and has White Water West product knowledge.
